This is a great idea if you think you will be staying in hostels for a week or two at a time, and not have a chance to do washing.
]]>Basically the way it works is you connect the loop of the wallet to your belt. You then push the wallet down the inside of your pants. It is quite easy to retrieve it and trust me, it is quite secure. Also, surprisingly it is quite comfortable and you actually forget it is there.

Yes, you heard me, A money belt. But no more. Here is the travel money belt. You simply wear this belt instead of wearing your normal one, but this belt has special “hidden” compartments where you can put your money. Pure genius.
Plus these have the additional security of not looking out of the ordinary, so possible thieves would be none the wiser. (so just be careful where you drop your pants)

Wow, now that is a mouthful! Not such a bad idea to be completely honest. I mean you could possibly do this with a packet from Tesco’s and a roll of tape, but it would look as pretty.
They also have the additional benefit of being waterproof so they will protect your clothes in the event of a leakage.

I have never really been a fan of these kinds of money belts. I find that they are not very porous and so you tend to sweat a lot between it and your skin. Nasty. They are useful for keeping and transporting cash and your passport. I carried all of my cash and papers through Europe in it, as I never had a bank account (this was quite some time ago), and it did the job fine.
They are machine washable and very durable. Plus, at £4.99 they are cheap as chips.
